How is your neighborhood’s self esteem?  Mine isn’t great.  When people talk about my neighborhood, most of the time it isn’t because something great happened there.  People think bad about my neighborhood.

When you think bad about a neighborhood, do you also think bad of the people who live there?

What if people thought more highly of inner cities areas?  What changes could take place from people not just retelling the tragedies but highlighting the incredible people.   I think it is a small step that could actually make a big difference.  Alex and I talk about this on the 53206 podcast this week.  Let me know what you think, what are some ways we can raise the self esteem of 53206?
